It depends on the role and the individual, but to give an indication for, the majority of vacancies it should only take a few short moments to answer the questions and attach a copy of your CV/cover letter.
For most vacancies we prefer to receive applications through our online portal, to make it simple and accessible for both you and us. However, should you require an application form in an alternative format, please let us know by emailing recruitment@bdtp.co.uk.
Applicants will be asked to provide reference details at the application stage; however, references will only be sought after a conditional job offer has been made and accepted. All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory references and some roles will require further screening such as enhanced DBS checks, where appropriate for the role.
Due to the volume of applications we receive, unfortunately we cannot guarantee feedback to every applicant, and so may be unable to provide feedback on unsuccessful applications at the shortlisting stage. We will of course try to do so where we can. We can, however, provide feedback to any candidate who has attended interview.

Our full-time corporate team roles are based on 36-hour week contracts. For our team members working in other roles (such as operative roles within catering and corporate cleaning) contracts can vary from as little as 10 hours per week to 36 hours per week, depending on the requirements of both the individual and the business.
We do! We are keen to bring onboard and develop new talent and are proud to have recently embarked on our journey with our first apprentice cohort.
We will always try to support the development of our community where we can! We appreciate how work experience placements can be hard to obtain, especially in a post covid world, but we see the value in allowing insights into the world of work and future career options. There may at times be restrictions on placements due to a number of factors so all work experience placements are given at the discretion of at the company and will need to be approved by HR and management.
